Modulators of sortilin activity

A compound of formula (I)

• or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, hydrate, tautomer, optical isomer, N-oxide, and/or prodrug thereof;
• wherein
• R1, R2 and R3 are each independently selected from the group consisting of halo, H, (C1-C4)alkyl, halo-(C1-C4)alkyl, (C2-C4)alkenyl, and halo-(C2-C4)alkenyl;
• R4 is selected from the group consisting of H, (C1-C10)alkyl, halo-(C1-C10)alkyl, (C2-C10)alkenyl, halo-(C2-C10)alkenyl, (C3-C8)aryl, halo-(C3-C8)aryl, (C3-C8)heteroaryl, halo-(C3-C8)heteroaryl, (C1-C6)-alkylene-(C3-C20)-aryl, (C1-C6)-alkylene-(C3-C20)-heteroaryl, (C1-C6)-alkylene-(3- to 10-membered-heterocyclic ring);
• wherein the aryl group in (C1-C6)-alkylene-(C3-C20)-aryl, the heteroaryl group in (C1-C6)-alkylene-(C3-C20)-heteroaryl or the heterocyclic ring in (C1-C6)-alkylene-(3- to 10-membered heterocyclic ring) is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from halo, H, —OH, (C1-C4)alkyl, halo-(C1-C4)alkyl, (C1-C4)alkoxy and halo-(C1-C4)alkoxy;
• R5 is selected from the group consisting of H, (C1-C10)alkyl, and (C2-C10)alkenyl;
• wherein the alkyl and alkenyl groups are optionally substituted with halo, an amide group and phenol;
• and
• R6 is selected from the group consisting of (C1-C10)alkyl, halo-(C1-C10)alkyl, (C2-C10)alkenyl, halo-(C2-C10)alkenyl and 3- to 10-membered-heterocyclic ring;
• wherein the heterocyclic ring is optionally substituted with one or more substituents independently selected from halo, —OH, (C1-C4)alkyl, halo-(C1-C10)alkyl, acetyl, (C1-C4)alkoxy, and halo-(C1-C4)alkoxy.
