Abstract
A transport container includes first and second sets or arrays permanent magnets arranged to provide a magnetic holding field for protecting hyperpolarized gas during storage and/or transport. The permanent magnets can be flat permanent magnets positioned on cooperating first and second spaced apart metal pans and be configured to project the magnetic holding field in space about an internal holding chamber for gas containers.
Claims25
A transport container for transporting one or more gas containers of hyperpolarized gas products, comprising:
- a first pan having a first recessed chamber;
- a second pan having a second recessed chamber, wherein the second pan is spaced apart from the first pan, aligned with and facing the first pan with the first recessed chamber facing the second recessed chamber;
- a first set of magnets on the first pan;
- and
- a second set of magnets on the second pan.
