Abstract
The present invention relates to a hot embossing method that can be used to make a structural and visual modification to a surface polymer. The present invention also relates to the embossing device used to make said structural and visual modification to the surface polymer.

Method for hot embossing an object, wherein the method comprises a step of embossing an embossable surface of the object with a master plate,
- said master plate comprising:
- a support (1),
- a plate (3) including an embossing pattern, and
- a deformable material layer (2) between the support and the plate comprising the embossing pattern,
- the embossing step comprising bringing the plate of the master plate into contact with said embossable surface.
