A communication apparatus that operates as a multi-link device complaint with an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11 series standard, the communication apparatus comprising:
- a selection unit configured to select at least one enhanced multi-link multi-radio (EMLMR) link from among a plurality of EMLMR links, based on information about a link of multi-link communication;
- and
- a control unit configured to control start of a frame exchange sequence on the selected at least one EMLMR link.
A control method for controlling a communication apparatus operating as an MLD compliant with an IEEE 802.11 series standard, the control method comprising:
- selecting at least one EMLMR link from among a plurality of EMLMR links based on information about a link of multi-link communication;
- and
- controlling start of a frame exchange sequence on the selected at least one EMLMR link.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for causing a communication apparatus that operates as a multi-link device complaint with an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11 series standard to perform a process, the process comprising:
- selecting at least one enhanced multi-link multi-radio (EMLMR) link from among a plurality of EMLMR links, based on information about a link of multi-link communication;
- and
- controlling start of a frame exchange sequence on the selected at least one EMLMR link.
