Abstract
Provided are a method and system for automated static IP configuration. The method, which may be performed by at least one processor is for assigning static IP addresses to one or more pods to instantiate a Network Function (NF), the method comprising: requesting a plurality of static IP addresses; storing the plurality of static IP addresses in a central inventory; and assigning the plurality of static IP addresses to a payload, wherein the payload can be used to instantiate the NF upon deployment.
Claims20
A method, performed by at least one processor, for assigning static IP addresses to one or more pods to instantiate a Network Function (NF), the method comprising:
- requesting a plurality of static IP addresses;
- storing the plurality of static IP addresses in a central inventory;
- and
- assigning the plurality of static IP addresses to a payload, wherein the payload can be used to instantiate the NF upon deployment.
An apparatus for assigning static IP addresses to one or more pods to instantiate a Network Function (NF), the apparatus comprising at least one processor configured to execute computer-executable instructions to:
- request a plurality of static IP addresses;
- store the plurality of static IP addresses in a central inventory;
- and
- assign the plurality of static IP addresses to a payload, wherein the payload can be used to instantiate the NF upon deployment.
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon instructions executable by at least one processor to cause the at least one processor to perform a method comprising:
- requesting a plurality of static IP addresses;
- storing the plurality of static IP addresses in a central inventory;
- and
- assigning the plurality of static IP addresses to a payload, wherein the payload can be used to instantiate the NF upon deployment.
