Abstract
The invention provides an enzyme with cytochrome P450 activity with mutations at the 109 and/or 198 positions based on P450SeuC10 from Streptomyces eurythermus NRRL 2539. The invention extends to related nucleic acid material and microorganisms, kits containing the enzyme, methods of producing the enzyme and methods of using the enzyme to generate oxidised organic compounds.
Claims29
An enzyme with cytochrome P450 activity and comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:
- 3, or an amino acid sequence having at least 80% identity thereto, wherein the amino acid at the position corresponding to position 109 of SEQ ID NO:
- 3 is not threonine, and/or the amino acid at the position corresponding to position 198 of SEQ ID NO:
- 3 is not leucine.
