The present description concerns an electronic circuit (10) for providing a digital signal (Sn) comprising a succession of ramps, the electronic circuit being clocked by a clock signal, the electronic circuit being configured to supply a number Nout of digital values of the digital signal at each cycle of the clock signal, Nout being greater than 1. The electronic circuit comprises a first memory (30) in which are stored, for each ramp, first data, and a second memory (32) in which are stored second data relative to the numbers of cycles of the clock signal over which some of the ramps extend, and a first circuit (40) configured to read from the first memory the first data relative to a plurality of successive ramps and from the second memory the second data associated with said plurality of successive ramps, and to supply said digital values.
Electronic circuit for providing a digital signal, an analog signal obtained by digital-to-analog conversion of the digital signal comprising a succession of ramps, the electronic circuit being clocked by a clock signal, the electronic circuit being configured to supply a number Nout of successive digital values of the digital signal at each cycle of the clock signal, Nout being greater than 1, the electronic circuit comprising a first memory in which are stored, for each ramp, first data comprising a start value of the ramp, the slope of the ramp, and a remaining duration of the ramp in the last cycle of the clock signal in which the ramp extends, and a second memory in which are stored second data relative to the numbers of cycles of the clock signal over which some of the ramps extend, and a first circuit configured to read from the first memory the first data relative to a plurality of successive ramps and from the second memory the second data associated with said plurality of successive ramps, and to provide said digital values based on the first and second read data.
Method of supplying a digital signal, an analog signal obtained by digital-to-analog conversion of the digital signal comprising a succession of ramps, the method comprising the supply, at each cycle of a clock signal, of a number Nout of successive digital values of the digital signal, Nout being greater than 1, the method comprising the provision of a first memory in which are stored, for each ramp, first data comprising a start value of the ramp, the slope of the ramp, and a remaining duration of the ramp in the last cycle of the clock signal in which the ramp extends, the provision of a second memory in which are stored second data relative to the numbers of cycles of the clock signal over which some of the ramps extend, the reading, from the first memory, of the first data relative to a plurality of successive ramps and, from the second memory, of the second data associated with said plurality of successive ramps, and the supply of said digital values based on the first and second read data.
