Connector fastener extension system

A cabling system, comprising:

• a cable;
• a cable connector that is included on an end of the cable and that is configured to rotate relative to the cable;
• and
• an attachable connector fastener extension system that includes:
• a fastener base that defines a cable connector housing and a cable connector aperture adjacent the cable connector housing, wherein the fastener base is configured to connect to the cable connector by positioning the cable connector in the cable connector housing such that at least a portion of the cable connector extends through the cable connector aperture;
• and
• a fastener extension member that is moveably coupled to the fastener base and configured to move away from the fastener base and towards the cable when the cable connector is connected to the fastener base, wherein rotation of the fastener extension member is configured to cause rotation of the fastener base and the cable connector relative to the cable when the cable connector is connected to the fastener base.

A method for extending a connector fastener, comprising:

• connecting, by a fastener base that defines a cable connector housing and a cable connector aperture adjacent the cable connector housing, to a cable connector that is located on the end of a cable by positioning the cable connector in the cable connector housing such that at least a portion of the cable connector extends through the cable connector aperture;
• connecting, by the cable connector that is connected to the fastener base, to a computing device connector on a computer device;
• moving, by a fastener extension member that is moveably coupled to the fastener base, away from the cable connector and towards the cable;
• and
• rotating, by the fastener extension member, to cause rotation of the fastener base and the cable connector relative to the cable to disconnect the cable connector from the computing device connector.
