Medical procedure cost comparison tool

A system comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the processor, cause the system to:
• receive a first user input that includes a medical procedure identifier and travel parameters for a user;
• identify one or more medical providers that can provide a medical procedure associated with the medical procedure identifier;
• generate a plurality of candidate procedure packages for the medical procedure by aggregating cost and scheduling information from a plurality of remote sources associated with each of the one or more medical providers and one or more travel-related entities, wherein the one or more travel-related entities are identified based on the travel parameters, and wherein each of the plurality of candidate procedure packages indicates:
• i) a cost for performing the medical procedure at a medical facility associated with a respective one of the one or more medical providers, and ii) a cost for round-trip travel to/from the medical facility;
• present the plurality of candidate procedure packages to the user via a user interface;
• receive a second user input selecting one of the plurality of candidate procedure packages;
• and
• schedule the medical procedure and booking round-trip travel through a respective subset of the plurality of remote sources.

A non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by a processor, cause a device to:

• receive a first user input that includes a medical procedure identifier and travel parameters for a user;
• identify one or more medical providers that can provide a medical procedure associated with the medical procedure identifier;
• generate a plurality of candidate procedure packages for the medical procedure by aggregating cost and scheduling information from a plurality of remote sources associated with each of the one or more medical providers and one or more travel-related entities, wherein the one or more travel-related entities are identified based on the travel parameters, and wherein each of the plurality of candidate procedure packages indicates:
• i) a cost for performing the medical procedure at a medical facility associated with a respective one of the one or more medical providers, and ii) a cost for round-trip travel to/from the medical facility;
• present the plurality of candidate procedure packages to the user via a user interface;
• receive a second user input selecting one of the plurality of candidate procedure packages;
• and
• schedule the medical procedure and booking round-trip travel through a respective subset of the plurality of remote sources.
