Configurable display holding apparatus and system

A system, comprising:

• a transaction terminal;
• and
• a display holding apparatus, comprising:
• a stand comprising a base and a vertical member attached to the base;
• and
• a bracket comprising a plurality of tabs along a first side of the bracket, wherein the tabs adapted to be inserted into slots of the vertical member to arrange the bracket on the vertical member in configured display orientations, and wherein the bracket comprising plungers adapted to hold a display against a second side of the bracket;
• wherein the display holding apparatus adapted to be mounted to a top surface of the transaction terminal.

A display system, comprising:

• a display;
• a display holding apparatus comprising:
• a stand that includes a base and a vertical member attached to the base at a right angle;
• a bracket adapted to be attached to the vertical member in different orientations, wherein in first orientations the bracket is vertical and parallel to the vertical member, wherein in second orientations the bracket is perpendicular to the vertical member;
• and
• a display cover adapted to fit around a periphery of the display and snap into the bracket, wherein a first side of the bracket adapted to attach to the bracket in the first orientations and the second orientations, and wherein a back side of the display adapted to be fixedly held against a second side of the bracket.
