Information processing device and image processing method

An information processing method, comprising:

• receiving, by processing circuitry, information related to a status transition of a user during display of a spherical content image of virtual space, wherein
• the spherical content image covers an entire field of view of the user, and
• the processing circuitry is communicatively coupled to a display device;
• receiving, by the processing circuitry, a real-space image acquired by an outward-facing camera included in the display device, wherein the reception of the real-space image is based on the received information related to the status transition, wherein
• the display device is wearable on a head of the user, and
• the display device includes display configured to cover the entire field of view;
• and
• controlling, by the processing circuitry, the display device to display a translucent spherical content image and the real-space image.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon, computer-executable instructions that, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to execute operations, the operations comprising:

• receiving information related to a status transition of a user during display of a spherical content image of virtual space, wherein the spherical content image covers an entire field of view of the user;
• receiving, based on the received information related to the status transition, a real-space image acquired by an outward-facing camera included in a display device, wherein
• the display device is wearable on a head of the user, and
• the display device includes display configured to cover the entire field of view;
• and
• controlling the display device to display a translucent spherical content image and the real-space image.
