- wherein
- R1 is —C(O)—NH-(alkyl), —SO2-(alkyl)
- wherein the alkyl may be straight, branched or cyclic
- or —SO2-(aryl)
- wherein the aryl is optionally substituted with one or more -(alkyl), —O-(alkyl), halogen, —CF3, —OCF3 or —CN
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

A compound having the structure:
- wherein
- R1 is —C(O)—NH-(ethyl) or —SO2-(methyl);
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
A method of treating a subject afflicted with a lung disease comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of a compound having the structure:
- wherein
- X is aryl or heteroaryl, which is optionally substituted with one or more -(alkyl), —O-(alkyl), halogen, —CF3, —OCF3 or —CN, wherein the alkyl may be straight, branched or cyclic;
- Y is aryl or heteroaryl, which is optionally substituted with one or more -(alkyl), —O-(alkyl), halogen, —CF3, —OCF3 or —CN, wherein the alkyl may be straight, branched or cyclic;
- R2 is H, -(alkyl), -(alkenyl), -(alkynyl) or -cycloalkyl, wherein the alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl may be straight, branched or cyclic;
- and
- R3 is H, -(alkyl), -(alkenyl), -(alkynyl), —C(O)—NH-(alkyl), —C(S)—NH-(alkyl), —C(O)-(alkyl), —SO2-(alkyl) or —SO2-(aryl), wherein the alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl may be straight, branched or cyclic, and the aryl is optionally substituted with one or more -(alkyl), —O-(alkyl), halogen, —CF3, —OCF3 or —CN;
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, so as to thereby treat the subject.
