Abstract
The present invention relates to a negative electrode active material, a method for preparing same, and a lithium secondary battery comprising same, the negative electrode active material comprising: a core; a shell surrounding the core; and metal particles having the entire surface or a part of the surface coated with an alkali metal inclusion.
Claims14
A negative electrode active material comprising:
- a core;
- a shell surrounding the core;
- and
- a metal particle in which a part or all of the surface thereof is coated with an alkali metal-containing compound, wherein the metal particle comprises any one or more selected from the group consisting of Ti, Cu, V, Zr, Nb, Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Fe, Mn, Co, Ni, Zn, and Ge, and the alkali metal-containing compound is represented by Formula 1,
- wherein in Formula 1,
- A comprises any one or more selected from the group consisting of Li, Na, and K,
- M comprises any one or more selected from the group consisting of Ti, Cu, V, Zr, Nb, Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Fe, Mn, Co, Ni, Zn, and Ge, and 0.1≤x≤2.0, 0≤y≤2.0, and 0≤z≤2.0.
4 more elements
A method for preparing a negative electrode active material, the method comprising:
- preparing an alkali metal-metal particle precursor by grinding a metal particle and an alkali metal precursor and performing spray drying;
- forming a composite by mixing the alkali metal-metal particle precursor, amorphous carbon, and crystalline carbon;
- and
- performing heat treatment,
- wherein the metal particle comprises any one or more selected from Ti, Cu, V, Zr, Nb, Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Fe, Mn, Co, Ni, Zn, and Ge, and
