Abstract
The invention provides a process to reduce the particle size of ivermectin wherein the process comprises incorporating ivermectin particles in a wet or liquid medium and subjecting the medium comprising the particles to mixing in a high shear mixer.

A process for preparing ivermectin particles having reduced particle size, wherein the process comprises incorporating ivermectin particles in a liquid medium comprising a mixture of an organic solvent with water, and subjecting the medium comprising the particles to mixing in a high shear mixer.
A method comprising utilizing high shear mixing to reduce the particle size of ivermectin in a suspension of ivermectin particles in a liquid medium.
