An Fc fusion protein comprising a pancreatic trypsin inhibitor (PTI) polypeptide linked to an Fc region, wherein the PTI polypeptide is a serine protease inhibitor Kazal-type 1 (SPINK1) polypeptide or a bovine pancreatic trypsin inhibitor (BPTI) polypeptide, wherein the SPINK1 polypeptide does not comprise a mutation, and wherein the Fc region comprises a hinge region, an IgG CH2 domain and an IgG CH3 domain.
