Abstract
A toner for electrostatic charge image development includes toner particles. The toner particles contain a polymer having a structural unit represented by the general expression (1): and a release agent. In the general expression (1), R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms. R2 and R3 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or an alkoxy group.

A toner for electrostatic charge image development comprising toner particles, wherein
- the toner particles contain a polymer having a structural unit represented by the general expression (1) and a release agent,
- in the general expression (1), R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and R2 and R3 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or an alkoxy group.
