Abstract
In example implementations, the end cap of a vertical panel door stacking system is coupled to a panel. The end cap includes a body portion, a cam lever to rotate around an axis to generate a lift force to lift and separate an adjacent panel of a plurality of panels of the vertical panel door stacking system, a first track wheel, a second track wheel, and a third track wheel.
Claims20
A cam lever to separate adjacent panels of a vertically stacking door, the cam lever, comprising:
- a cam body portion, wherein a center of the cam body portion is coupled to an inner side of an end cap of a panel of the vertically stacking door;
- a first cam wheel coupled to a first side of a first end of the cam body portion, wherein the first cam wheel extends beyond the inner side of a body portion of the end cap;
- and
- a second cam wheel coupled to a second side opposite the first side on a second end of the cam body portion, wherein the second cam wheel is located between the inner side and an outer side of the end cap and extends beyond a back side of the body portion of the end cap.
A cam lever to separate adjacent panels of a vertically stacking door, the cam lever, comprising:
- a cam body portion, wherein the cam body portion comprises an opening towards a center of the cam body portion to receive a rotatable mechanical coupling that rotatably connects the cam body portion to an inner side of an end cap of a panel of the vertically stacking door, the rotatable mechanical coupling configured to allow the cam body portion to rotate around an axis of the rotatable mechanical coupling;
- a first cam wheel coupled to a first side of a first end of the cam body portion, wherein the first cam wheel extends beyond the inner side of a body portion of the end cap;
- and
- a second cam wheel coupled to a second side opposite the first side on a second end of the cam body portion, wherein the second cam wheel is located between the inner side and an outer side of the end cap and extends beyond a back side of the body portion of the end cap.
An end cap for a first panel of a vertically stacking door, comprising:
- a body portion comprising a top end, a bottom end, a front side, a back side, an inner side, and an outer side;
- a plurality of openings aligned between the inner side and the outer side to receive a mechanical fastener to connect to an end of the first panel;
- a cam lever coupled to the top end, wherein the cam lever is to rotate around an axis to generate a lift force to lift and separate a second panel that is adjacent to the first panel;
- and
- a plurality of wheels coupled to the inner side, wherein the first panel moves along a horizontal track via the plurality of wheels aligned with the horizontal track.
