Abstract
An in-vitro method for stimulating the gene expression of at least one of XOXA10, LIF, ITGB3, XOXA11 and ITGAV genes in endometrial cells comprising applying on such endometrial cells electric current waves having a sinusoidal waveform with a fundamental frequency higher than 2 MHz, preferably of about 4 MHZ, for a predefined amount of time.
Claims8
An in vitro method for increasing the expression of a gene in endometrial cells, the method comprising the steps of:
- (i) providing a culture of endometrial cells;
- (ii) contacting the culture of endometrial cells with electrodes and applying electric current waves having a sinusoidal waveform of a fundamental frequency higher than 2 MHz for a predetermined amount of time;
- and
- (iii) assaying the contacted cells of (ii) for the expression of a gene, wherein said gene is selected from the group consisting of HOXAIO, HOXAII, LIF, ITGB3 and ITGAV and said gene has increased expression in response to the electric current waves of (ii).
