Abstract
The present invention provides a recombinant exosome and uses thereof. More particularly, the present invention provides a recombinant exosome wherein a phagocytosis promoting protein is presented on the surface of the exosome.
Claims12
A recombinant exosome comprising on its surface a signal regulatory protein (SIRP), a fragment thereof, or a variant thereof that is fused to a protein non-naturally occurring in the exosome, wherein the protein non-naturally occurring in the exosome comprises a transmembrane domain, and wherein the recombinant exosome binds to a surface protein of a pathological cell more than a naturally occurring exosome does.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising:
- a recombinant exosome comprising on its surface a signal regulatory protein (SIRP), a fragment thereof, or a variant thereof that is fused to a protein non-naturally occurring in the exosome, wherein the recombinant exosome binds to a CD47 protein of a pathological cell;
- a phagocytosis stimulating agent;
- and
- a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
