Abstract
A musical instrument includes: a musical instrument body configured to reverberate by vibrating at least one vibrating member in accordance with a performance operation; a pickup configured to output a performance information signal corresponding to the performance operation; a microphone disposed in a vicinity of the musical instrument body and configured to output a sound collection signal corresponding to sounds around the musical instrument body; and a vibrator configured to vibrate the musical instrument body based on the performance information signal and the sound collection signal.

A musical instrument comprising:
- a musical instrument body configured to reverberate by vibrating at least one vibrating member in accordance with a performance operation;
- a pickup configured to output a performance information signal corresponding to the performance operation;
- a microphone disposed in a vicinity of the musical instrument body and configured to output a sound collection signal corresponding to sounds around the musical instrument body;
- and
- a vibrator configured to vibrate the musical instrument body based on the performance information signal and the sound collection signal.
