## Abstract

Provided is a non-natural polypeptide including a fragment of major histocompatibility complex class I (MHC I). Also provided are a method for inhibiting combination between SARS-COV-2 and a cell of a subject and a method for preventing or treating SARS-COV-2 infection in a subject in need thereof, including contacting the cell or administering to the subject with the non-natural polypeptide.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for inhibiting combination between SARS-COV-2 and a cell of a subject in need thereof, comprising contacting the cell with an effective amount of a non-natural polypeptide including a fragment of major histocompatibility complex class I (MHC I).

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the non-natural polypeptide has at least 75% sequence identity to MHC I.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the non-natural polypeptide has an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NOs: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the non-natural polypeptide shows binding activity to a spike protein receptor binding domain of the SARS-COV-2.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the non-natural polypeptide consists of 10 to 400 amino acids.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the non-natural polypeptide inhibits the combination between the SARS-COV-2 and a cell membrane receptor of the cell.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein the cell membrane receptor of the cell is angiotensin-converting enzyme II (ACE2).

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the SARS-COV-2 is a wild-type or a variant thereof.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The method of claim 8, wherein the variant is any one selected from the group consisting of Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Omicron.

### Claim 10

A method for preventing or treating SARS-COV-2 infection in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a pharmaceutical composition, wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises an effective amount of a non-natural polypeptide including a fragment of major histocompatibility complex class I (MHC I) and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier thereof.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein the non-natural polypeptide has at least 75% sequence identity to MHC I.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein the non-natural polypeptide has an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NOs: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.

### Claim 13 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein the non-natural polypeptide shows binding activity to a spike protein receptor binding domain of the SARS-COV-2.

### Claim 14 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein the non-natural polypeptide consists of 10 to 400 amino acids.

### Claim 15 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein the non-natural polypeptide inhibits combination between the SARS-COV-2 and a cell membrane receptor of a cell in the subject.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The method of claim 15, wherein the cell membrane receptor is angiotensin-converting enzyme II (ACE2).

### Claim 17 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein the SARS-COV-2 is a wild-type or a variant thereof.

### Claim 18 (depends on 17)

The method of claim 17, wherein the variant is any one selected from the group consisting of Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Omicron.

### Claim 19

A non-natural polypeptide having at least 70% sequence identity to at least one of SEQ ID NOs: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, and showing binding activity to a spike protein receptor binding domain of SARS-COV-2.

### Claim 20 (depends on 19)

The non-natural polypeptide of claim 19, having an amino acid sequence of at least one of SEQ ID NOs: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.
