Abstract
An autonomous vehicle assembly comprises a chassis assembly and a storage assembly. The chassis assembly includes a front chassis module and a rear chassis module that are selectively connectable to one another. The front chassis module includes a front wheel and an EBS assembly for steering the front wheel and the rear chassis module includes a rear wheel and a propulsion assembly for driving the rear wheel. An autonomous driving module is selectively connected to the chassis assembly and independently in communication with the EBS assembly and the propulsion assembly.
Claims15
An autonomous vehicle assembly comprising:
- a chassis assembly including a front chassis module and a rear chassis module being selectively connectable to one another;
- the front chassis module including at least one front wheel and the rear chassis module including at least one rear wheel;
- an EBS assembly located in at least one of the front chassis module and the rear chassis module for steering at least one of the at least one front wheel and the at least one rear wheel;
- and
- a propulsion assembly located in at least one of the front chassis module and the rear chassis module for driving at least one of the at least one front wheel and the at least one rear wheel.
