Abstract

A method for controlling a vehicle including at least one sensor and at least one actuator, and a control device as well as a processing unit. The particular sensor provides sensor values to the control device. An input device provides an input signal to the control device. The control device provides at least one output signal to the actuator. The output signal being determined and provided based on the input signal and the at least one sensor signal, taking an ontology into account, wherein it is decided, based on the ontology, whether an output signal is provided, if at all, to an actuator, or to which actuator the output signal is provided, and wherein the ontology is based on traffic regulations. A control device and a computer program product for carrying out the method are also provided.
