Electronic device comprising display and method for operating same

An electronic device comprising:

• a display panel;
• a communication circuitry;
• memory;
• and
• a processor connected to the display panel, the communication circuitry, and the memory,
• wherein the display panel comprises:
• a plurality of pixels including a first pixel and a second pixel,
• a first opaque member located not to overlap a first light emitting area of a first sub-pixel that displays a first color included in the first pixel and to surround a circumference of the first light emitting area, and
• a second opaque member disposed to overlap at least a portion of a second light emitting area of a second sub-pixel that displays a second color included in the second pixel and to wrap a periphery of the second light emitting area around once by a specific first thickness,
• wherein the first light emitting area is an area, in which a first electrode of the first sub-pixel and a first organic light emitting layer of the first sub-pixel contact each other, and the first light emitting area includes at least two divided areas, and
• wherein the second light emitting area is an area, in which a second electrode of the second sub-pixel and a second organic light emitting layer of the second sub-pixel contact each other, and the second pixel does not include an opaque member at a portion, at which the second pixel does not overlap the second light emitting area.
