Onboarding Auto Creation of UDN Groups and Dynamic Binding

A computing apparatus comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, configure the apparatus to:
• receive, from an application on a user device, a request from the user device to access an end device, wherein the request includes a credential and the end device is associated with multiple end devices within a private group with access to a set of services;
• dynamically add a user device identity of the user device to the private group (UDN) based on authenticating the user device based on the credential being associated with the private group;
• send, to a controller, a change of authorization to include the user device within the private group;
• and
• grant the user device access to the set of services.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, the computer-readable storage medium including instructions that when executed by a computer, cause the computer to:

• receive, from an application on a user device, a request from the user device to access an end device, wherein the request includes a credential and the end device is associated with multiple end devices within a private group with access to a set of services;
• dynamically add a user device identity of the user device to the private group (UDN) based on authenticating the user device based on the credential being associated with the private group;
• send, to a controller, a change of authorization to include the user device within the private group;
• and
• grant the user device access to the set of services.
