Abstract
Methods and systems are disclosed that include receiving participant behavioral information for a telepresence event (where the telepresence event is attended by a plurality of participants and at least one participant is assigned to a subgroup of a plurality of subgroups by virtue of each participant of the plurality of participants being assigned to an assigned subgroup of the plurality of subgroups), generating an updated participant behavioral model, and reassigning at least one participant of the plurality of participants to another subgroup of the plurality of subgroups.
Claims24
A computer-implemented method, implemented in a computer system, comprising:
- receiving participant behavioral information for a telepresence event, wherein
- the telepresence event is attended by a plurality of participants, and
- at least one participant is assigned to a subgroup of a plurality of subgroups by virtue of each participant of the plurality of participants being assigned to an assigned subgroup of the plurality of subgroups;
- generating an updated participant behavioral model, wherein
- the updated participant behavioral model is based, at least in part, on a participant behavioral model by virtue of the generating comprising updating the participant behavioral model, and
- the updated participant behavioral model is updated based, at least in part, on participant behavioral information;
- generating engagement score information, wherein
- the engagement score information is generated using the updated participant behavioral model;
- and
- reassigning the at least one participant of the plurality of participants to another subgroup of the plurality of subgroups, wherein
- the at least one participant is reassigned to the another subgroup of the plurality of subgroups using the engagement score information.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, comprising program instructions, which, when executed by one or more processors of a computing system, perform a method comprising:
- receiving participant behavioral information for a telepresence event, wherein
- the telepresence event is attended by a plurality of participants, and
- at least one participant is assigned to a subgroup of a plurality of subgroups by virtue of each participant of the plurality of participants being assigned to an assigned subgroup of the plurality of subgroups;
- generating an updated participant behavioral model, wherein
- the updated participant behavioral model is based, at least in part, on a participant behavioral model by virtue of the generating comprising updating the participant behavioral model, and
- the updated participant behavioral model is updated based, at least in part, on participant behavioral information;
- generating engagement score information, wherein
- the engagement score information is generated using the updated participant behavioral model;
- and
- reassigning the at least one participant of the plurality of participants to another subgroup of the plurality of subgroups, wherein
- the at least one participant is reassigned to the another subgroup of the plurality of subgroups using the engagement score information.
A computing system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- a computer-readable storage medium coupled to the one or more processors;
- and
- a non-volitional participant assigner, wherein
- the non-volitional participant assigner is configured to receive participant information for each participant of a plurality of participants in a telepresence event, and
- the non-volitional participant assigner comprises
- a subgroup generation unit configured to generate one or more subgroups for the telepresence event based, at least in part, on the participant information for the each participant of the plurality of participants, and
- a subgroup participant assignment unit configured to assign one or more participants of the plurality of participants to each of the one or more subgroups based, at least in part, on an affinity metric value of an affinity metric, wherein
- the affinity metric is a measure of affinity between ones of the one or more participants of the plurality of participants, and
- the affinity metric value is a value of the affinity metric as between each of the one or more participants of the plurality of participants and another participant of the one or more participants of the plurality of participants, which is determined using one or more participant attributes of the each of the one or more participants of the plurality of participants, and
- the one or more participant attributes of the each of the one or more participants of the plurality of participants are determined based, at least in part, from the participant information for the one or more participants of the plurality of participants.
