Wearable device control based on voice command of verified user

A method, comprising:

• in a wearable device:
• receiving a first user input;
• generating a challenge key-phrase based on the received first user input;
• rendering a message including the generated challenge key-phrase, through an audio output device of the wearable device;
• capturing one or more first audio signals corresponding to the rendered message;
• determining whether the captured one or more first audio signals include the generated challenge key-phrase;
• verifying a user based on the determination that the captured one or more first audio signals include the generated challenge key-phrase;
• capturing one or more second audio signals corresponding to a second user input including a voice command, based on the verification of the user;
• and
• controlling a feature or a setting of at least one of the wearable device or an electronic device associated with the wearable device, based on the voice command.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon, computer-executable instructions that when executed by a wearable device, causes the wearable device to execute operations, the operations comprising:

• receiving a first user input;
• generating a challenge key-phrase based on the received first user input;
• rendering a message including the generated challenge key-phrase, through an audio output device of the wearable device;
• capturing one or more first audio signals corresponding to the rendered message;
• determining whether the captured one or more first audio signals include the generated challenge key-phrase;
• verifying a user based on the determination that the captured one or more first audio signals include the generated challenge key-phrase;
• capturing one or more second audio signals corresponding to a second user input including a voice command, based on the verification of the user;
• and
• controlling a feature or a setting of at least one of the wearable device or an electronic device associated with the wearable device, based on the voice command.
