Augmented reality visualization of an action on an identified object

A system comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a computer-readable storage medium communicatively coupled to the processor and storing program instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform a method comprising:
• determining, for a user, an object interest level for each object of a plurality of known objects;
• detecting one or more objects in an environment;
• identifying, based on the object interest level, a first object of the one or more objects in the environment that is similar to at least one object of the plurality of known objects;
• determining, based on properties of the first object and the object interest level, an action for interacting with the first object;
• and
• displaying, using an augmented reality (AR) display, an avatar performing the determined action for interacting with the first object.

A computer program product comprising a computer-readable storage medium having program instructions embodied therewith, the program instructions executable by a processor to cause the processor to perform a method comprising:

• determining, for a user, an object interest level for each object of a plurality of known objects;
• detecting one or more objects in an environment;
• identifying, based on the object interest level, a first object of the one or more objects in the environment that is similar to at least one object of the plurality of known objects;
• determining, based on properties of the first object and the object interest level, an action for interacting with the first object;
• and
• displaying, using an augmented reality (AR) display, an avatar performing the determined action for interacting with the first object.
