Methods and systems for providing personal shopping services

A system, comprising:

• a mobile device comprising:
• a graphical user interface (GUI);
• and
• one or more processors operable, via an application, to:
• generate one or more graphical elements on the GUI to enable a customer and a sales associate to share a web browsing session;
• associate the customer, on the mobile device, with the sales associate according a relative location of the sales associate and a performance of the sales associate;
• generate one or more graphical elements on the GUI to enable a selection from a catalog comprising a recommended product or service customized, for the customer, by the sales associate via the web browsing session;
• and
• associate the sales associate with a purchase, by the customer, the recommended product or service.

A method, comprising:

• via an application operating on one or more processors of a mobile device:
• generating one or more graphical elements on the GUI to enable a customer and a sales associate to share a web browsing session;
• associating the customer, on the mobile device, with the sales associate according a relative location of the sales associate and a performance of the sales associate;
• generating one or more graphical elements on the GUI to enable a selection from a catalog comprising a recommended product or service customized, for the customer, by the sales associate via the web browsing session;
• and
• associating the sales associate with a purchase, by the customer, the recommended product or service.
