Abstract
Systems and methods that synchronize account restrictions between gaming establishment accounts and/or a gaming establishment account and a payment instrument, such as a debit card, employed to access funds associated with the gaming establishment account.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory device that stores a plurality of instructions that, when executed by the processor responsive to a restriction placement event occurring in association with a first gaming establishment account, cause the processor to:
- place a restriction on the first gaming establishment account, and
- communicate data associated with the placed restriction, wherein responsive to a first component that maintains a second gaming establishment account associated with a debit card receiving the data, the first component determines whether to place the restriction on the second gaming establishment account.

A system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory device that stores a plurality of instructions that, when executed by the processor responsive to a placed restriction associated with a first gaming establishment account being cleared, cause the processor to communicate data associated with the cleared restriction to a component of an event system which publishes the data associated with the cleared restriction, wherein responsive to a component of a gaming establishment cashless wagering system that maintains a gaming establishment cashless wagering account associated with a debit card receiving the data, the component of the gaming establishment cashless wagering system determines whether to clear the restriction placed on the gaming establishment cashless wagering account.
A method of operating a system, the method comprising:
- responsive to a restriction placement event occurring in association with a first gaming establishment account:
- placing, by a processor, a restriction on the first gaming establishment account, and
- communicating data associated with the placed restriction, wherein responsive to a first component that maintains a second gaming establishment account associated with a debit card receiving the data, the first component determines whether to place the restriction on the second gaming establishment account.
