Abstract
An accessible card can provide access to an account. The account card can include sides, which are connected to form a shape, and a textured directional feature for providing access to an account. The textured directional feature can be associated with at least one side of the sides. The at least one side of the sides that is associated with the textured directional feature can include (i) a first surface roughness that is different than a second surface roughness associated with other sides of the sides, and (ii) a textured arrangement configured to indicate, via tactile interaction, an orientation of the account associated with the account card or a card type of the account card.
Claims20
An account card comprising:
- a plurality of sides that are connected to form a shape;
- and
- a textured directional feature for providing access to an account, the textured directional feature associated with at least one side of the plurality of sides, the at least one side of the plurality of sides that is associated with the textured directional feature including:
- a first surface roughness that is different than a second surface roughness associated with other sides of the plurality of sides;
- and
- a textured arrangement configured to indicate, via tactile interaction, an orientation of the account card or a card type of the account card.
A card system comprising:
- a first account card comprising:
- a first plurality of sides that are connected to form a first shape;
- and
- a first textured directional feature for providing access to a first account, the first textured directional feature associated with at least one side of the first plurality of sides, the at least one side of the first plurality of sides that is associated with the first textured directional feature including (i) a first surface roughness that is different than a second surface roughness associated with other sides of the first plurality of sides, and (ii) a first textured arrangement configured to indicate, via tactile interaction, an orientation of the first account card;
- and
- a second account card comprising:
- a second plurality of sides that are connected to form a second shape;
- and
- a second textured directional feature for providing access to a second account, the second textured directional feature associated with at least one side of the second plurality of sides, the at least one side of the second plurality of sides that is associated with the second textured directional feature including (i) a third surface roughness that is different than a fourth surface roughness associated with other sides of the second plurality of sides, and (ii) a second textured arrangement configured to indicate, via tactile interaction, an orientation of the second account card.
A method comprising:
- receiving an account card that includes:
- a plurality of sides that are connected to form a shape;
- and
- a textured directional feature for providing access to an account, the textured directional feature associated with at least one side of the plurality of sides, the at least one side of the plurality of sides that is associated with the textured directional feature including:
- a first surface roughness that is different than a second surface roughness associated with other sides of the plurality of sides;
- and
- a textured arrangement configured to indicate, via tactile interaction, an orientation of the account card or a card type of the account card;
- determining, via the textured directional feature, an account associated with the account card;
- determining, via the textured directional feature, an orientation of the account card;
- and
- accessing, based on the orientation and using the account card, the account associated with the account card.
