Card customization

A system for customizing a credit or debit card using an online application, said system comprising:

• a back-end server operating the online application and including:
• at least one processor for processing data and information;
• a communications interface communicatively coupled to the at least one processor;
• and
• a memory device storing data and executable code that, when executed, causes the at least one processor to:
• allow a user to select where an account number will appear on a front side and/or a back side of the card.

A system for customizing a credit or debit card using an online application, said system comprising:

• a back-end server operating the online application and including:
• at least one processor for processing data and information;
• a communications interface communicatively coupled to the at least one processor;
• and
• a memory device storing data and executable code that, when executed, causes the at least one processor to allow a user to select two or more of:
• a location and orientation of an image that will appear on a front side or a back side of the card;
• where an account number will appear on the front side and/or the back side of the card;
• a shape of the card;
• a location of one or more electronic chips on the front side or the back side of the card;
• a language of words on the card;
• a font style of the words on the card;
• a location and orientation of a signature block on the front side or the back side of the card;
• a location and orientation of a magnetic strip on the front side or the back side of the card;
• a location and orientation of an expiration date on the front side or the back side of the card;
• a location and orientation of a security code on the front side or the back side of the card;
• and
• whether features on the card will be oriented in a landscape or portrait orientation.
