Systems and computer-implemented processes for providing electronic notifications

One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a user device, cause operations comprising:

• receiving an identification signal via a wireless transmitter associated with a financial service provider;
• during a time period in which an application associated with the financial service provider is not executing on the user device, determining via an identification check program, that identification data of the identification signal corresponds to the wireless transmitter associated with the financial service provider;
• based on the determination, during the time period, that the wireless transmitter is associated with the financial service provider, causing the application associated with the financial service provider to (i) execute on the user device and (ii) transmit, to a server system associated with the financial service provider, a request for data relating to a user account associated with the financial service provider;
• and
• causing, via a display of the user device, presentation of the requested data received from the server system.

A computer-implemented method comprising:

• receiving an identification signal via a wireless transmitter associated with a financial service provider;
• during a time period in which an application associated with the financial service provider is not executing on a user device, determining via an identification check program, that identification data of the identification signal corresponds to the wireless transmitter associated with the financial service provider;
• based on the determination, during the time period, that the wireless transmitter is associated with the financial service provider, causing the application associated with the financial service provider to (i) execute on the user device and (ii) transmit, to a server system associated with the financial service provider, a request for data relating to a user account associated with the financial service provider;
• and
• causing, via a display of the user device, presentation of the requested data received from the server system.
