Abstract
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium stores a distributed learning program for causing a computer to perform a process including: identifying a layer group that includes at least one layer in which a memory capacity shortage occurs when machine learning of a machine learning model that includes a plurality of layers is performed in parallel by a plurality of nodes that each has a memory; and causing the plurality of nodes to share processing in the identified layer group.
Claims20
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a distributed learning program for causing a computer to perform a process comprising:
- identifying a layer group that includes at least one layer in which a memory capacity shortage occurs when machine learning of a machine learning model that includes a plurality of layers is performed in parallel by a plurality of nodes that each has a memory;
- and
- causing the plurality of nodes to share processing in the identified layer group.
A distributed learning method comprising:
- identifying a layer group that includes at least one layer in which a memory capacity shortage occurs when machine learning of a machine learning model that includes a plurality of layers is performed in parallel by a plurality of nodes that each has a memory;
- and
- causing the plurality of nodes to share processing in the identified layer group.
A distributed learning device comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a processor coupled to the memory and configured to:
- identify a layer group that includes at least one layer in which a memory capacity shortage occurs when machine learning of a machine learning model that includes a plurality of layers is performed in parallel by a plurality of nodes that each has a memory;
- and
- cause the plurality of nodes to share processing in the identified layer group.
