Abstract
An application mapping engine may determine dependencies in existing executable application by monitoring and analyzing process flow and data flow of the application during runtime execution. The application mapping engine may generate dependency visualization maps that illustrate dependency interaction information.
Claims20
A computing platform, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- a communication interface communicatively coupled to the at least one processor;
- and
- memory storing computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing platform to:
- receive application data and information flow data for a first application service;
- determine based on the received application data and information flow data, at least one executable application included in the first application service;
- determine dependencies based on the analyzed application data and information flow data for the determined at least one executable application;
- determine a first visual representation of the determined application dependencies for the first application service;
- compare the first visual representation of the determined application dependencies for the first application service to a second visual representation of a second application service stored in memory;
- and
- determine based on the comparison a compatibility score for combining the first application service with the second application service.
A method comprising:
- receiving application data and information flow data for a first application service;
- determining based on the received data and information flow data, at least one executable application included in the first application service;
- determining dependencies based on the analyzed application data and information flow data for the determined at least one executable application;
- determining a first visual representation of the determined application dependencies for the first application service;
- comparing the first visual representation of the determined application dependencies for the first application service to a second visual representation of a second application service stored in memory;
- and
- determining based on the comparison a compatibility score for combining the first application service with the second application service.
One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by a computing platform comprising at least one processor, a communication interface, and memory, cause the computing platform to:
- receive application data and information flow data for a first application service;
- determine based on the received application data and information flow data, at least one executable application included in the first application service;
- determine dependencies based on the analyzed application data and information flow data for the determined at least one executable application;
- determine a first visual representation of the determined application dependencies for the first application service;
- compare the first visual representation of the determined application dependencies for the first application service to a second visual representation of a second application service stored in memory;
- and
- determine based on the comparison a compatibility score for combining the first application service with the second application service.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
