Image processing apparatus, image processing method, and storage medium that gather objects in a selected state onto a same sheet region

A method of controlling an image processing apparatus, the method comprising:

• displaying a plurality of page regions on a screen;
• selecting a first object placed on a first page region of the plurality of page regions and a second object placed on a second page region, different from the first page region, to generate selected first and second objects;
• receiving a moving operation to move the first object of the selected first and second objects from the first page region to a third page region, different from the first and second page regions;
• and
• moving the first object and the second object to the third page region based on the moving operation.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a program that causes an image processing apparatus to function as:

• a display control unit configured to display a plurality of page regions on a screen;
• a selection unit configured to select a first object placed on a first page region of the plurality of page regions and a second object placed on a second page region, different from the first page region, to generate selected first and second objects;
• a reception unit configured to receive a moving operation to move the first object of the selected first and second objects from the first page region to a third page region, different from the first and second page regions;
• and
• a moving unit configured to move the first object and the second object to the third page region based on the moving operation.
