Abstract
A compact work machine, such as a compact track loader and/or a compact utility loader, which can carry and operate a wide range of attachments while maintaining a reduced operating footprint

A work machine comprising:
- a frame presenting an interior compartment;
- an operator cab hingedly connected to said frame so that said cab can be selectively positioned in a lowered position and a raised position, wherein said cab presents an interior space;
- and
- one or more control elements located in said interior space, wherein said control elements are configured to be manipulated by a user to control functions of said work machine,
- wherein one or more control lines extend from said cab to said frame, wherein said one or more control lines only include electrical conductors.

A work machine comprising:
- a frame presenting an interior compartment;
- a hydraulic system at least partially positioned in said interior compartment;
- an operator cab hingedly connected to said frame so that said cab can be selectively positioned in a lowered position and a raised position, wherein said cab presents an interior space;
- and
- a control system at least partially located in said interior space and comprising—
- a controller configured to control operations of said hydraulic system,
- one or more control elements located in said interior space of said cab and in electrical communication with said controller, and
- control lines extending from said cab to said frame, wherein said control lines only include electrical conductors.

- a frame presenting an interior compartment and including an upwardly extending rearward portion;
- a drive assembly supporting the frame and configured to propel the frame;
- an engine or motor at least partially mounted in said interior compartment and configured to power the drive assembly;
- an operator cab hingedly connected to said rearward portion so that said cab can be selectively positioned in a lowered position and a raised position, wherein said cab presents an interior space;
- one or more control elements located in said interior space of said cab, wherein said control elements are configured to be manipulated by a user to control functions of said engine or motor;
- and
- control lines connected to said plurality of controls and extending from said interior space to said interior compartment, wherein said control lines only include electrical conductors.
