Disclosed are isochromane and related compounds, and pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds. Methods of treating neurological or psychiatric disease and disorders in a subject in need are also disclosed.

A compound of Table 1, wherein said compound is of structure:

- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
A method for treating a neurological or psychiatric disease or disorder in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to said subject an effective amount of the composition of claim 8.
A method for treating neuropsychiatric and behavior symptoms in a neurological disease or disorder in a subject, comprising administering to said subject an effective amount of the composition of claim 8.
