A method of reducing pain or itch, the method comprising administering to a patient in need thereof a composition comprising a therapeutically effective dose of non-polar extract of Iceland moss.
A composition comprising a therapeutically effective dose of non-polar extract of Iceland moss for use in reducing pain or itch to a patient in need thereof
- wherein the non-polar extract is present in the composition at a concentration of about 0.001 to about 0.005 wt. % by weight of the total composition;
- and
- the non-polar extract was extracted with dichloromethane.
