Abstract
A terminal according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a control section that controls, in either state of an idle state or an inactive state, operation for at least one of reception of downlink data and transmission of uplink data, and a transmitting/receiving section that performs the operation without transmitting, before the operation, a random access preamble in the state. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, it is possible to reduce power consumption/latency.
Claims7
A terminal comprising:
- a control section that controls, in either state of an idle state or an inactive state, operation for at least one of reception of downlink data and transmission of uplink data;
- and
- a transmitting/receiving section that performs the operation without transmitting, before the operation, a random access preamble in the state.
A radio communication method for a terminal, the radio communication method comprising:
- controlling, in either state of an idle state or an inactive state, operation for at least one of reception of downlink data and transmission of uplink data;
- and
- performing the operation without transmitting, before the operation, a random access preamble in the state.
A base station comprising:
- a control section that controls, for a terminal in either state of an idle state or an inactive state, operation for at least one of transmission of downlink data and reception of uplink data;
- and
- a transmitting/receiving section that performs the operation without receiving, before the operation, a random access preamble from the terminal in the state.
