Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for video processing. A method for video processing is proposed. The method comprises: obtaining, during a conversion between a target video unit in a target picture of a video and a bitstream of the video, second coding data of the target video unit based on first coding data of the target video unit and at least one refinement process, the at least one refinement process being applied based on a predefined criterion; and performing the conversion based on the second coding data. Compared with the conventional solution, the proposed method can advantageously improve the coding performance and efficiency.

A method for video processing, comprising:
- obtaining, during a conversion between a target video unit in a target picture of a video and a bitstream of the video, second coding data of the target video unit based on first coding data of the target video unit and at least one refinement process, the at least one refinement process being applied based on a predefined criterion;
- and
- performing the conversion based on the second coding data.
An apparatus for video processing, comprising:
- a processor;
- and a non-transitory memory coupled to the processor and having instructions stored thereon, wherein the instructions upon execution by the processor, cause the processor to:
- obtain, during a conversion between a target video unit in a target picture of a video and a bitstream of the video, second coding data of the target video unit based on first coding data of the target video unit and at least one refinement process, the at least one refinement process being applied based on a predefined criterion;
- and
- generate the bitstream based on the second coding data.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions that cause a processor to perform a method comprising:
- obtaining, during a conversion between a target video unit in a target picture of a video and a bitstream of the video, second coding data of the target video unit based on first coding data of the target video unit and at least one refinement process, the at least one refinement process being applied based on a predefined criterion;
- and
- performing the conversion based on the second coding data.
