Abstract
Frequency hopping control methods and apparatuses are provided. In one frequency hopping control method, a user equipment (UE) determines a type of a UE and determines one or more frequency hopping parameters according to the type of the UE. Furthermore, the UE may perform frequency hopping according to the determined one or more frequency hopping parameters.

A frequency hopping control method, performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- determining a type of the UE;
- determining one or more frequency hopping parameters according to the type of the UE;
- and
- performing frequency hopping according to the one or more frequency hopping parameters.

- determine a type of a user equipment (UE);
- determine one or more frequency hopping parameters of the UE according to the type of the UE;
- and
- provide a frequency hopping service of the UE according to the one or more frequency hopping parameters.
