Electrolyte additive, electrolyte and lithium-ion secondary battery containing same, and use thereof

A method of preparing an electrolyte for a lithium ion secondary battery, the method comprising providing and utilizing an electrolyte additive to prepare the electrolyte, the electrolyte additive including a compound as represented by formula (1) as follows:

• wherein
• R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl group, and
• R2 is selected from the group consisting of a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 aliphatic hydrocarbylene group and a 6-10 membered substituted or unsubstituted carbocyclic or heterocyclic aromatic group, wherein the heterocyclic aromatic group includes 1 to 3 heteroatoms selected from N, S, O or any combination thereof.

A method of manufacturing a lithium ion secondary battery, the method comprising providing and utilizing an electrolyte additive to manufacture the lithium ion secondary battery, the electrolyte additive including a compound as represented by formula (1) as follows:

• wherein
• R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl group, and
• R2 is selected from the group consisting of a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 aliphatic hydrocarbylene group and a 6-10 membered substituted or unsubstituted carbocyclic or heterocyclic aromatic group, wherein the heterocyclic aromatic group includes 1 to 3 heteroatoms selected from N, S, O or any combination thereof.
