Abstract
Methods and systems provided. A system may include an application program. The application program may be configured to cause one or more images captured via a remote system to be conveyed to a server via a metered connection. The application program may also be configured to enable at least one image of the one or more images conveyed to the server to be accessed via an electronic device. Further, the application program may be configured to cause a specific portion of a previously captured video associated with an image of the at least one image to be conveyed from the remote system to the server via the metered connection in response to a request.
Claims20
A system, comprising:
- an application program configured to:
- cause one or more images captured via a remote system to be conveyed to a server via a metered connection;
- enable at least one image of the one or more images conveyed to the server to be accessed via an electronic device;
- and
- cause a specific portion of a previously captured video associated with an image of the at least one image to be conveyed from the remote system to the server via the metered connection in response to a request.
A method, comprising:
- receiving, via a metered connection, at least one image of one or more images captured via a remote system;
- storing the at least one image on a cloud server;
- enabling the at least one image to be displayed via an electronic device remote from the server;
- retrieving, from the remote system and in response to a request associated with the at least one displayed image, a previously recorded portion of interest of at least one video clip stored on the remote system;
- and
- storing the previously recorded portion of interest of the at least one video clip on the cloud server.
A system, comprising:
- a server configured to:
- receive at least one previously captured image from a remote system via a metered connection;
- enable the at least one previously captured image to be viewed via an electronic device remote from the server;
- receive input associated with the at least one previously captured image;
- and
- retrieve, subsequent to receiving the input, a specific portion of one or more previously captured videos from the remote system via the metered connection without retrieving every other portion of the one or more previously captured videos.
