Abstract

Embodiments herein relate to fenestration systems and retention clips for securing weatherstrips to fenestration systems. In an embodiment, a fenestration system is included having a structural member defining a weather strip receiving channel. The fenestration system can further include a weather strip configured to fit within the weather strip receiving channel. The fenestration system can further include a retention clip configured to interconnect the weather strip and a surface of the weather strip receiving channel and hold the weather strip in position.
