Abstract
The disclosure provides methods of preparing aflatoxin-contaminated nuts.
Claims11
A method to produce aflatoxin-contaminated nuts in vitro, comprising
- 1) preparing a conidial suspension from a toxigenic Aspergillus strain;
- 2) inoculating nuts with the conidial suspension;
- and
- 3) incubating the inoculated nuts, wherein said Aspergillus mold grows and produces at least one aflatoxin.
