Abstract
The current invention relates to a method for obtaining one or more target biomolecules from cells cultured in a fixed bed bioreactor, said method comprises: the addition of a lysis solution to the bioreactor, thereby lysing the cells in the bioreactor, and prior to, simultaneous with, and/or after lysing said cells, applying one or more mechanical actions to said bioreactor, after which the one or more target biomolecules are recovered from said bioreactor. The invention further relates to a system for obtaining one or more target biomolecules from cells cultured in a fixed bed bioreactor.

A method for obtaining one or more target biomolecules from cells cultured in a fixed bed bioreactor, said method comprises:
- the addition of a lysis solution to the bioreactor, thereby lysing the cells in the bioreactor, and prior to, simultaneous with, and/or after lysing said cells, applying one or more mechanical actions to said bioreactor, after which the one or more target biomolecules are recovered from said bioreactor.
A system, comprising:
- an agitation device (18) and a fixation system (210), said agitation device comprising a deck (202) adapted for receiving a bioreactor;
- and said fixation system comprising at least one fastener (212) for securing the bioreactor to the deck (202), and a bridge structure (214) adapted for mounting to the bioreactor and receiving the at least one fastener.
