Abstract
The present invention relates to an amphipathic compound, a preparation method therefor, and a surfactant composition comprising same and, specifically, to a compound selected from the group consisting of steviol monoglycoside-acid, steviol monoglycoside-ester, and steviol monoglycoside-amide, a preparation method therefor, and a surfactant composition comprising at least one of these compounds.

An amphipathic compound represented by Chemical Formula (1), Chemical Formula (2), or Chemical Formula (3) below:
- wherein:
- R2 is any one selected from among β-glucose-β-glucose(2-1), β-glucose-β-glucose(2-1)-β-glucose(3-1), β-glucose-β-glucose(2-1)-β-rhamnose(3-1), and β-glucose-β-xylose(2-1)-β-glucose(3-1);
- R3 is a linear or cyclic substituted or unsubstituted C1-C30 alkyl or aryl;
- and
- R4 and R5 are each independently a linear or cyclic substituted or unsubstituted C1-C30 alkyl or aryl, or H.

A surfactant composition comprising, as an active ingredient, at least one material selected from the group consisting of steviol monoglycoside-acid, steviol monoglycoside-ester, and steviol monoglycoside-amide.
