Abstract
A composition of alcohol and essential oils that enable the composition to have a prolonged antimicrobial effect by reducing the normal rate of alcohol dehydration, reducing toxicity, and increasing duration of efficacy with proper application to oral cavity, oropharynx, and directly pharyngeal tonsils. The composition is delivered as a jet stream focusing on the pharyngeal tonsil area.

A method for treating throat infections, the method comprising:
- providing an antimicrobial composition consisting of:
- alcohol 20-30% by weight, and
- oils 70%-80% by weight;
- and
- administering the composition as a narrow jet stream directly focused on pharyngeal tonsil.
