A method of treating a human patient afflicted with progressive multiple sclerosis, the method comprising orally administering to the human patient at least one compound chosen from 2-({3-fluoro-3′-methoxy-[1,1′-biphenyl]-4-yl}carbamoyl)cyclopent-1-ene-1-carboxylic acid a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or a solvate thereof, at a daily dose of about 10 mg to 45 mg of the at least one compound so as to alleviate a symptom of or a condition associated with progressive multiple sclerosis, thereby treating the human patient.
A method for treating a human subject afflicted with progressive multiple sclerosis by providing neuroprotection to the human subject comprising orally administering to the human subject a daily dose of about 10 mg to 45 mg at least one compound chosen from 2-({3-fluoro-3′-methoxy-[1,1′-biphenyl]-4-yl}carbamoyl)cyclopent-1-ene-1-carboxylic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or a solvate thereof to thereby treat the human subject by providing neuroprotection to the human subject.
